Police Say The Bodies And Locations Of Their Findings At Kimia Farma Warehouse Samarinda Are Not Related

The Samarinda Police confirmed that the discovery of the body at Kimia Farma's warehouse with the initials BMJ (56) showed no connection between the body and Kimia Farma. This was traced from patient data and drug collection. "The investigation was carried out by the Samarinda City Police investigator team, together with the Samarinda Police Satreskrim," said Samarinda Police Chief Kombes Pol Ary Fadli during a press conference at the Samarinda Police Headquarters, Wednesday, March 20, which was confiscated by Antara.

He recounted that the chronology of the incident began when a mother entered the pharmacy and headed to the drug concoction room while carrying a black crackle bag. The witness at the location thought the bag was filled with garbage and saw the mother heading to the back garden to wash her hands.

He continued, starting with the Atma Husada Mental Hospital, where BMJ is undergoing control and examination. After asking for a drink from her husband, she was left alone while her husband was waiting for the medicine. When her husband returned, she did not find his wife and the attempt to contact her via cellphone was unsuccessful.

"The kresek bag found in the prayer room contains a small packet of snacks. A Kimia Farma officer who wanted to use the toilet found the bag and threw it in the trash, thought it was trash," said Ary.

He also explained that the body of a woman in Kimia Farma's warehouse, Jalan P Hidayatullah, was indeed found in the back of the warehouse used to store items that had not been used.

"We have processed the crime scene (TKP) and found the body of a woman with the initials BMJ (56) with evidence in the form of a cellphone and wallet containing Rp110 thousand in cash," said Ary.

He said that an autopsy had been carried out and his party was waiting for digital forensic results to determine the cause of death.

The warehouse where the body was found was unlocked, and from the results of the investigation it was found that there was an incoming call on the victim's cellphone from the victim's husband. Six witnesses from Kimia Farma have been examined, including the witness who first saw the victim entering the pharmacy and directed her to the drug concoction room.

The surveillance camera (CCTV) from the scene of the incident has been secured and is being analyzed by a laboratory in Surabaya to ensure that there is no engineering in the recording. This case is handled by the Samarinda Police Task Force with coordination that has been carried out with Kimia Farma.

The investigation is still continuing with pre-reconstruction plans to understand the chronology of the event.
