TANJUNG SELOR - North Kalimantan (Kaltara) Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya received a working visit from the Head of the International Relations Division (Kadiv Hubinter) of the National Police Inspector General Krishna Murti and NCB Secretary Interpol Indonesia, Brigadier General Amur Chandra.

The arrival of the Head of the Hubinter Division and his team was warmly welcomed by the Kapolda and the Main Officials (PJU) of the Kaltara Police at the Kaltara Police Headquarters, Tuesday, March 19.

The Head of Public Relations of the North Kalimantan Police, Kombes Budi Rahmat, said that the visit of the Head of the Indonesian National Police was to monitor and evaluate the inter-state border (Monev) in the jurisdiction of the Kaltara Police.

"The Kaltara Police are one of the Regional Police which has a jurisdiction directly adjacent to neighboring countries, namely Malaysia and Philipina, so that it becomes the attention or attention of the Police Divhubinter," said Kombes Budi, Tuesday, March 19.

The Kaltara Police Chief, continued Budi, supported and assisted the team during the Border Monev in Kaltara.

"We have prepared the data and information needed, especially to support the steps taken by the National Police to protect the border area," he said.

Divhubinter Polri plans to place Border Transnational Crime Liaison Office (BTNCLO) in the jurisdiction of the Kaltara Police.

"The BTNCLO placement plan is at three points, namely Sebatik, Tarakan and Bulungan. But it is still tentative, it will be seen from the priority of potential vulnerabilities for both Malaysia and Pilipina countries," he explained.

The National Police Divhubinter will train North Kalimantan Police personnel assigned to handle criminal cases between countries.

"Divhubinter will determine the location and placement of BTNCLO and LO personnel on duty," he concluded.
