Timah Mining Entrepreneur Haksono Santoso Becomes A Suspect And Enters DPO Alleged Embezzlement Case

JAKARTA tin mining entrepreneur Haksono Santoso has been officially named a suspect in alleged embezzlement in Pluit, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, which occurred around 2023.

He reportedly fled abroad and is being hunted by Interpol.

Citing the letter number DPO/S-34/172/XI/2024/Ditreskrimum/Polda Metro Jaya, which circulated in various circles and announcing boards of Polda offices throughout Indonesia, Friday, November 15, 2024, Haksono is suspected of committing embezzlement as referred to in Article 372 of the Criminal Code worth US$2 million.

"Cases occurred in Pluit, Penjaringan, North Jakarta in around 2023," wrote a letter signed directly by the Director of General Criminal Investigation (Direskrimum) Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Wira Satya Triputra.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi confirmed that Haksono Santoso had been named a suspect and was included in the DPO list.

However, Ade admitted that he did not know for sure the figure of Haksono Santoso who was involved in the embezzlement case.

"Based on the data on the track, Haksono Santoso is already abroad. If he doesn't return in the near future, he will be submitted to Interpol to be added to the red notice list," he said.
