West Java KPU Set Prabowo-Gibran To Win Badly

The General Election Commission (KPU) of West Java Province has determined that the Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka pairs dominate West Java in the 2024 General Election.

This was confirmed in the plenary meeting of the determination of the results of the recapitulation of vote calculations in the 2024 election at the West Java provincial level.

"On Monday, March 18 in 2024, the West Java Provincial KPU has carried out a recapitulation of the results of the calculation of presidential election votes at the provincial level in the provincial KPU working area in the 2024 General Election, located in the hall of the Setia Permana KPU Building, West Java province," said the Head of the West Java Provincial KPU Data and Information Division, Ahmad Nur Hidayat, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, March 18.

The open plenary recapitulation meeting was held for almost 13 days, consisting of the period 6-10 March 2024.

However, due to the existence of two regions, namely Bekasi Regency and Bekasi City, there were delays in calculating due to the large number of existing polling stations, so the plenary session had to be extended to this day.

The recapitulation process is carried out openly and can be followed and witnessed directly by the electoral supervisory body (Bawaslu), witnesses to political parties, witnesses to legislative candidates, election monitoring and the community.

The results of the recapitulation of the use of voting rights in West Java were 19,897,387 voters with details of 9,669,890 men, 10,227,497 women and as many people as many disabled voters.

In determining the results of the presidential election in the 2024 election in West Java, the recapitulation of votes recorded Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, candidate pair number one (1) received 9,099,674 votes.

Meanwhile, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka candidate pair number two (2) won 16,805,854 votes and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD number three (3) won 2,820,995 votes.
