JAKARTA - Simultaneous Silent Actions carried out by elements of society from the Council to Save Indonesian Sovereignty (Desak-In), were forcibly dispersed by an unknown group of men wearing free clothes in the Horse Statue area, Monas, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Monday, March 18.

The group of men claimed to be members and forcibly confiscated props such as cardboard boxes measuring 30x30 cm with various articles of action demands.

It is known that the mass action demanded BIN neutrality in the 2024 General Election process and urged the dismissal of the Head of BIN on suspicion of acts of neutrality in the 2024 General Election process.

Based on official information, there are 6 points of prosecution. The first demand is related to the replacement of the Head of BIN Budi Gunawan by President Joko Widodo.

Second, BIN certainty remains neutral and focuses on its duty to maintain national security and stability. Third, limiting BIN's involvement in internal political affairs, such as support for political parties or certain candidates.

Equilibrium ordering in gathering information and providing objective analysis without bias to certain groups or interests.

Then, enforcement of information confidentiality obtained by BIN and prevention of data misuse and positions for political or personal interests.

Furthermore, increasing transparency and accountability in BIN operations and activities to build public trust in the institution.

The action also voiced the issue of the neutrality of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the context of the 2024 General Election which highlighted the importance of maintaining integrity and professionalism in government.

As the main pillar in serving the community, ASN is expected to be able to carry out its duties without political interference that threatens its neutrality.
