A total of 339 foreign tourists visited the city of Ternate, North Maluku for travel in the city and received intensive escort from local police officers.

Head of Public Relations of the North Maluku Police, AKBP Bambang Suharyono in Ternate, Minggi said foreign tourist visits to Ternate City from various countries use cruise ships to see the potential of mainstay tourist attractions in this area.

On that occasion, the North Maluku Regional Police deployed their personnel led by Iptu Marsudin along with members of the North Maluku Regional Police's Dit Pam Ovit.

Tourist escorts have been carried out by visiting various tourist attractions since Thursday (14/3/2024) such as the Ternate Palace tour, Ternate City Museum, Batu Angus Kulaba, and Cengke Afo Park.

In addition, this escort also aims to provide optimal protection and supervision of tourists so that they can enjoy their vacation in peace and comfort.

Members of the North Maluku Regional Police's Dit Pam Ovit are equipped with adequate equipment and knowledge to maintain the safety and security of tourists while carrying out tours in the city of Ternate.

During the escort, members of Dit Pamobvit actively communicate with tourists, provide information about the places they visit, and provide safety advice to ensure a pleasant holiday experience for tourists.

This escort activity is also a form of the police's commitment to supporting the regional tourism sector to increase tourist visits and make a positive contribution to local economic developments.
