PEKANBARU - A total of 104 restaurant entrepreneurs, restaurants, street food stalls, coffee shops, special stalls and the like that served nonhalal dishes applying for an operating permit during Ramadan to the One Stop Integrated Service and Investment Service (DPMPTSP) Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. The application for a permit must be carried out based on Circular Number: 15/SE/2024, concerning activity guidelines in the holy month of Ramadan 1445 Hijri/2024 AD in Pekanbaru City. One of the contents is that restaurant managers, restaurants, street food stalls, coffee shops, cafes, and the like, can be opened from 06.00-16.00 WIB, but specifically serves delivery orders. It is prohibited to sell alcoholic and fermented beverages such as tuak or the like," explained Quarte Rudianto.

Quarte Rudianto emphasized that the permit for Ramadan is free of charge. The conditions are also not difficult, only identity cards and complete data on the place of business. "Gratis, there is no permit processing fee," he added.
