PENAJAM - The central government opened a quota of 225 special formations for government employees of the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) in 2024 by providing opportunities for employees in the regions.

Acting (Pj) Regent of Penajam Paser Utara, East Kalimantan Makmur Marbun explained that this year the central government opened a quota of government employees who believed that the state civil apparatus (ASN) and government employees with a work agreement (P3K) and provided the widest possible opportunities for employees in the regions.

"We support the central government's steps in procuring ASN and P3K for IKN special formations," Marbun said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, March 14.

Through the instructions of President Joko Widodo (Widodo), the central government this year opened around 225 special formations for government employees for IKN which were built in parts of North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province, namely in Sepaku District.

The special formal for government employees for IKN is mandatory for the continuation of the capital city of Indonesia, according to him, and provides opportunities for local sons and daughters to be recruited as government employees at IKN.

The Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB) also provides great opportunities for the public to become ASN and P3K, where starting this year the acceptance of candidates for state civil servants (CASN) and P3K will be carried out three times a year.

"Starting in 2024, CASN acceptance will be carried out three times a year, previously it was only once in one year," he explained.

Dengan begitu diberikan peluang besar bagi masyarakat yang ingin menjadi ASN dan P3K, lanjut dia, dan memberikan peluang bagi instansi pemerintahan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pegawai.

The PAN-RB Ministry targets that by the end of this year all honorary workers in government circles throughout Indonesia will be appointed as first aid kits through first aid admissions which are also carried out in each region.

Based on data from the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) for honorary workers throughout Indonesia, there are around 2.3 million people, he said, currently there are around 1.7 million honorary workers left.
