KPK Summons 2 Civil Servants Regarding Edhy Prabowo's Bribery Case

JAKARTA - Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators summoned two witnesses regarding the bribery case for the export license of lobsters that ensnared the former Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Edhy Prabowo.

The two witnesses examined this time are civil servants (PNS) and both will be summoned to complete Edhy's case files.

"FX Lusianto Prabowo and Erwin Situmorang are questioned as witnesses for the EP suspect (Edhy Prabowo)", said KPK spokesperson for prosecution Ali Fikri in his written statement, Tuesday, March 9.

Not yet known with certainty the examination material of the two. However, both are suspected of knowing the case that ensnared Edhy and a number of parties in the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries.

As previously reported, in the case of the export bribery of lobster fry or lobster seeds, Edhy Prabowo was named a suspect in receiving bribes along with five other people, namely: Presidential Staff (Stafsus) Minister of KKP Safri (SAF), and Andreau Pribadi Misanta (APM); Management of PT Aero Citra Kargo (PT ACK) Siswadi (SWD); The staff of the wife of the Minister of KKP, Ainul Faqih, and Amiril Mukminin (AM).

While the giver of the bribe was the Director of PT Dua Putra Perkasa Pratama (PT DPPP) Suharjito (SJT).

Edhy was named a suspect because he was suspected of accepting bribes from companies that had been issued a lobster seed export license using a forwarder company and were kept in one account up to IDR 9.8 billion.

This money was allegedly used by Edhy and his wife to shop for luxury goods, including during a trip to Honolulu, Hawaii, the United States before being caught in a hand-arrest operation (OTT).

In this case, Edhy and five other people were charged with Article 12 paragraph (1) letter a or b or Article 11 of Law (UU) Number 31 of 1999 as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Eradication of Corruption Crime (Tipikor). ) in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) to 1 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 64 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.

Meanwhile, as a bribe giver, Suharjito was charged with Article 5 paragraph (1) letter a or b or Article 13 of the Corruption Act in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) to 1 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 64 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.
