Prevented From Going Abroad, Antonius Kosasih Asked For Cooperative When Summoned By KPK

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) reminded two people who were prevented from leaving the country regarding the alleged corruption of PT Taspen (Persero) cooperatively fulfilling the investigator's summons when questioned. There is no reason for both of them to be absent.

The two people who were prevented from leaving the country in the case have not yet been conveyed by the Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri. However, based on the information gathered, they are the President Director of PT Taspen (Persero) Antonius N.S. Kosasih who has been deactivated and the Managing Director of PT Insight Investments Management, Ekiawan Heri Primaryanto.

"These parties are expected to always be cooperative in responding to calls and examinations from the investigative team," Ali told reporters in a written statement quoted on Saturday, March 9.

Ali said the two parties were prevented for six months until September 2024. This forced effort could be extended according to the needs of investigators.

"This request to prevent is the first," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK revealed that it was investigating allegations of corruption at PT Taspen (Persero). It is suspected that there was a fictitious investment involving other companies that caused the state to lose hundreds of billions.

Meanwhile, during the KPK investigation, Rina Lauwy, who is the ex-wife of the President Director of PT Taspen, Antonius Nicholas Stephanus Kosasih, on Friday, September 1, 2023. He admitted that he was asked for information regarding the investigation into the alleged corruption.

At that time, Rina said that her summons had no suspect's name attached. Even so, she has submitted 39 bank statements to investigators, some of which belonged to her ex-husband.
