The Bali General Election Commission (DPPASAR) has approved the results of the provincial-level vote recapitulation of the presidential and vice presidential elections (PPWP) by calculating the number of vote rights users to reach 83.3 percent.

"The calculation is 83.3 percent according to the target, it has reached our target which is 83 percent through a little," said Bali KPU Commissioner I Gede John Darmawan as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, March 8.

In the provincial-level vote recapitulation plenary, John read out the number of voters who used the voting items as many as 2,740,692, consisting of 2,704,450 permanent voter lists (DPT), 17,496 additional voter lists (DPTB), and 18,746 special voter lists (DPK).

Meanwhile, the total final voter list that should be able to exercise voting rights to elect the president and vice president is 3,269,516 people.

Although participation is based on the presence of high numbers, based on ballots there are tens of thousands of their invalid votes.

"The number of valid votes is 2,681,007, the number of invalid votes is 59,685," said John.

Of the 83.3 percent of participation, the Bali KPU said the district with the highest level of participation was Badung Regency with 90 percent and Buleleng with the lowest at 75 percent.

Until now they have not mapped the percentage of participation between women and men, but in the selection of PPWP male rights users the number is 1,365,691 people and 1,375,001 women.

The Bali KPU also recorded participation in disability and obtained a number of disabled voters who reached 4,149 people for the presidential and vice presidential elections.

From that percentage, the Bali KPU finally ratified the total votes of three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates.

John conveyed directly and it was agreed by all witnesses, in which the votes for candidate pair number 1 Anies-Muhaimin were 99,233 votes, candidate pair number 2 Prabowo-Gibran which touched 54 percent 1,454,640 votes, and candidate pair number 3 Ganjar-Mahfud 1,127,134 votes.
