One Suspect In The Persecution Case At The Makmur Bahagia Cafe, South Jakarta, Is Still Being Sought By The Police

Police are still hunting for one suspect in the beating at the Makmur Bahagia Cafe, Kemang, South Jakarta. Of the five people suspected of being involved, four people have been arrested. And now one perpetrator is still hunting for members of the Mampang Police Criminal Investigation Unit.

Mampang Prapatan Police Chief, Commissioner David Kanito said one person who was still on the run was AM, a visitor to the Makmur Cafe who was suspected of molesting Ahmad Mardianto (26), who died as a result of being stabbed.

Police Commissioner David Kanito admitted that until now his party had not been able to reveal the identity of the perpetrator further. Because David said, from CCTV footage, the perpetrator's face looked vague.

"Not yet (arrested). Because no one knows from the witnesses. The suspects also don't know AM. From CCTV he didn't leave the cafe," David said when confirmed, Friday, March 8.

He suspects that the perpetrators who have not been caught are only involved when the victim is being beaten by 4 other perpetrators.

"Most likely he got involved," he said.

Nevertheless, David ensured that his party would continue to hunt down the perpetrators until they were arrested. Because for him, whoever is involved in a criminal act must be arrested.

"But we are still looking for it, there is no reason not to look for it," he said.
