Police Arrest 2 Perpetrators Of PPK Houses In Sukabumi, Embedded With Emotions Because Of Victim's Speech

Sukabumi City Police arrested two people with the initials IT (47) and OS (35) for the case of destroying the house of the Chairperson of the Cibeureum Aden Badri District Election Committee on Jalan Pembangunan Selakaso, Selakaso Village, Sukabumi City, West Java.

"We arrested the two perpetrators around Loasari Village RT 01 Limusnungga Village, Cibeureum District, Sukabumi City," said Sukabumi City Police Chief AKBP Ari Setyawan Wibowo as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, March 7.

The destruction of the house of the head of the Cibeureum PPK in Cibeureum District occurred in the early hours of Saturday (2/3) at around 03.00 WIB.

The police arrested the two suspected perpetrators on Monday (4/3) after conducting a crime scene (TKP), asking for witness testimony and a series of investigations which eventually led to the two perpetrators.

Meanwhile, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sukabumi Police, AKP Bagus Panuntun, said that the brain of destroying the house of the PPK chairman was IT.

From the results of the investigation, the IT suspect invited his colleague to carry out the destruction because he was disappointed with the victim's words.

Although there were no casualties, the actions taken by IT and OS have harmed others and threatened the safety of people's lives.

"Until now, the two perpetrators who have been named as suspects are still undergoing examination in the Sukabumi City Police Satreskrim investigator's room to reveal the motive for the vandalism," he added.

The two suspects face imprisonment for 6 years in accordance with Article 160 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 170 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 406 of the Criminal Code.
