The Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Police, South Sumatra, has again arrested a suspect in the premeditated murder of the victim Hairuni (62) who was found dead in a rubber plantation in Kedaton Village, Kedaton Peninjauan Raya District (KPR) which occurred on Saturday (2/3).
"The suspect is IA (25) one of three perpetrators who have been arrested previously," said OKU Police Chief AKBP Imam Zamroni as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, March 6.
The suspect, a resident of Hamlet IX, Kedaton Village, KPR District, OKU Regency, was wanted by officers for running away after killing the victim along with two other perpetrators, namely MU (62) and RZ (30) who were none other than his own father and brother.
Suspect IA was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Peninjau Police in Hamlet III Talang Bukit, Sinar Kedaton Village, KPR District on Tuesday (5/3) afternoon.
"The suspects have now been secured for further legal processing," he said.
The police chief explained that the motive for the sadistic murder carried out by a family was motivated by the dispute over the yard land between the perpetrator and the victim, so that the suspects were determined to kill the middle-aged woman.

The victim's body was found in a rubber plantation in a pathetic condition with three stab wounds using sharp weapons.
