KPU Ensures Full Of Voting Logistics In Kuala Lumpur On Time

The KPU is trying to fulfill the re-voting logistics (PSU) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on time.

"The KPU moved quickly to ensure that the re-voting in Kuala Lumpur went on time according to what had been scheduled," said KPU member Idham Holik as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, March 5.

According to him, the process of fulfilling the PSU logistics took a lot of time because the number of voters remained overseas (DPTLN) for re-voting in Kuala Lumpur reached 62,217 people.

Based on the KPU Decree Number 280 of 2024, it is determined that logistics fulfillment for scheduled PSU will start from 1 - 8 March 2024.

Meanwhile, the PSU process in Kuala Lumpur will use two methods and last for two days.

"What is clear is that March 8, 2024, the KPU will hold technical guidance for re-voting in Kuala Lumpur," he said.

He said the implementation of the PSU with the mobile ballot box (KSK) method was scheduled for March 9, 2024 and with the polling method (TPS) was carried out the following day, March 10, 2024.

"For the KSK method, the polling group (KPPS) will carry out escorts from start to finish. The next day, the ballot will be calculated in conjunction with the results of the PSU from the TPS method," he said.
