One Dead, 4 Injured In Philadelphia Shooting

JAKARTA - Two gunmen opened fire at a group of people at a bus terminal in the city of Philadelphia, United States, causing one person to be killed and four others injured, local police said.

"There is a group of teenagers waiting to take the bus behind me. We can say, based on the evidence we have obtained so far, two people appeared and they started shooting," Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel said in a press conference broadcast by CBS Philadelphia as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, March 5.

"As a result of the gunfire - several times the bullets were fired - we found five people being shot," he continued.

A 17-year-old man was killed in the attack, the commissioner said.

Meanwhile, two women, aged 49 and 71, were shot while on the bus, but both women are in stable condition now, said Bethel, adding the windshield seemed to slow down.

Meanwhile, two other teenagers were injured by being shot.

The two shooters fled from the scene, said Bethel, while the local police have conducted an investigation into the incident.
