SAR Team Finds Climber Eka Putri Pratiwi Who Lost In Mount Batukaru Tabanan

TABANAN - A female climber, Eka Putri Pratiwi (24), who was reported to have lost his way on Mount Batukaru, in Tabanan Regency, Bali, was finally found.

Initially Eka and his friend named Sandika (21) started climbing on Sunday (3/3) at around 04.00 WITA. Eka had time to contact the family, but then communication was cut off.

"He came down in a weak condition and managed to arrive at Pura Malen, Pujungan. The Denpasar Search and Rescue Office (Basarnas Bali) received this information at 07.30 WITA," said Head of the Denpasar Search and Rescue Office, I Nyoman Sidakarya, Monday, March 4.

Meanwhile, climber Eka Putri Pratiwi was found by the Bali SAR Team at around 16.15 WITA.

"After hours of searching, finally officers with local residents or guides managed to find Eka Putri Pratiwi safe at around 16.15 WITA. The location of the discovery was 200 meters from the starting point, both of which were reported missing," he said.
