JAKARTA - Chairman of the Advisory Council of the United Development Party (PPP), Romahurmuziy or Rommy, emphasized that his party would dismantle the anomaly of increasing PSI votes through the DPR's right to investigate allegations of fraud in the 2024 General Election. Because Rommy assessed that the recent PSI vote spike was really unnatural. Moreover, there was the voice of the candidate who suddenly moved to the party chaired by President Jokowi's son. "Every illegal vote shift becomes PSI's voice, it clearly harms the overall political party of the election participants. PPP is ready to bring this as material for the right of inquiry," said Rommy in his press statement, Monday, March 4. "Politically, the DPR will accelerate and breakthrough through the right of inquiry so that this kind of election fraud is stopped," he continued. Rommy said, he had heard that PSI's winning operation had been carried out by the authorities since before the 2024 election was held.

He explained that regional election organizers are targeted to get PSI votes per district/city on the island of Java as many as 50 thousand votes. Meanwhile, for areas outside Java, it is targeted to get 20 thousand votes per district/city.

"This is done by using and financing certain youth organizations networks that have been led by one minister, to mobilize PSI votes in the image," said Rommy.

Rommy also suspected that PSI's vote inflated was carried out in a structured, systematic and massive manner (TSM). Therefore, the former chairman of the PPP urged that election organizers from the Voting Organizing Group (KPPS) to the Central KPU, including Bawaslu, be summoned.

"It is possible that we will summon other state officials. Regarding reports of fraud against Bawaslu, it is processed according to the applicable mechanism," said Rommy. Rommy also asked the KPU at all levels to immediately stop silent operations to raise PSI votes. He reminded that election fraud such as inflating votes could be punished.

"It should be remembered that any action to manipulate the election results contains a criminal offense for the election. And protecting every 1 people's vote is the same as guarding the straightness of democracy in Indonesia," he concluded. Previously, PPP DPP Chairman Achmad Baidowi admitted that his vote acquisition in several polling stations (TPS) in Sampang, Madura Island, East Java suddenly moved to PSI. Awiek is known to be an incumbent candidate who is advancing again from the East Java XI electoral districts covering Bangkalan, Pamekasan, Sampang, and Sumenep in the 2024 elections.

"In my electoral district, I became a victim. My two polling stations have moved to your voice. At the TPS in Pangereman Village, Ketapang District, my voice has moved to PSI," said the man who is familiarly called Awiek in an interview with a television station, Sunday, March 3. Based on the results of a real count at Sirekap KPU while on Monday, March 4, at 07.00 WIB, it showed that PPP votes were at 4.01 percent by obtaining 3,082,507 votes.
