Teddy Rusmawan Expects The Work On The KM 149 Toll Road To Padaleunyi Toll Road To Be Executed Immediately

The chairman of the Bandung City DPRD, Teddy Rusmawan, expressed his hope for the construction of the 149 Kilometer (KM) toll bridge on the Padaleunyi Toll Road to be executed immediately. This is intended so that the toll gate at that location can be reopened to the general public.

According to Teddy, the information he obtained shows that in the near future tender preparations will be made for the work. Funds for this project have been budgeted for in 2023.

"Hopefully (it) will be executed, because the work will take up to eight months," said Teddy Rusmawan in a statement in Bandung, Saturday, March 2.

Teddy estimates that if the tender process begins in May 2024, the KM 149 toll gate can resume operations by the end of 2024.

Previously, Jasa Marga Senior General Manager, Widiyatmiko Nursejati, explained that the closure of access in and out of KM 149 since January 1, 2024 was carried out due to damage to the road structure. This was done based on the direction of the Ministry of PUPR through BPJT instructions.

Widiyatmiko also emphasized that Jasa Marga will continue to coordinate with the Ministry of PUPR to ensure the fulfillment of the operational feasibility of the KM 149 access road before being handed over to fully operate.

On the other hand, Jasa Marga urges road users to always ensure that their physical condition and vehicle are in prime condition and have sufficient electronic money balance.
