JK Calls The Plan For A Meeting With Megawati Not To Discuss The Rights Of The DPR's Angkat

JAKARTA - Former Vice President Jusuf Kalla said that the plan to meet with PDIP general chairman Megawati Soekarnoputri had not yet discussed the DPR's inquiry regarding the alleged fraud in the 2024 General Election.

JK emphasized that the plan to meet Jusuf Kalla with Megawati would discuss the progress of Indonesia's nation and democracy.

"Anyway, for the progress of the nation, the main thing is that Indonesian democracy, (the DPR's right to inquiry) has not yet reached there," said JK according to attending the DMI event at the Sultan Hotel, Central Jakarta, Friday, March 2.

However, when asked by reporters about when he planned to meet Megawati, JK had not yet spoken about the date.

"Meeting with Mrs. Mega is scheduled to meet at heart," explained Jusuf Kalla.

JK previously talked about his planned meeting with Megawati, which was still scheduled.

"It is being arranged according to the right time, we will see later," said JK.

JK some time ago also said that the submission of the DPR's right to inquiry regarding the alleged fraud in the 2024 election was one of the efforts to prove the alleged election fraud.

"Of course the right of inquiry is good for the defendant because now there are many issues that this (election) has a problem. So, if there is a right to inquiry, if there is no problem, it is good so as to eliminate suspicion," he said.
