President Jokowi Claims Many Investors Queue To Invest In IKN

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo said that currently many investors are queuing to invest in the Capital City of the Archipelago (IKN), North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan.

"There are a lot of queues, only regulating where the land is clear and clean, then the area where so that this ecosystem is immediately formed so that the city becomes alive," said the President in his statement to the media crew after laying the first stone for a number of infrastructures in IKN as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, February 29.

Jokowi reminded the importance of land management and a good ecosystem to ensure sustainable urban development. "If those who queue are given this continue, others are not, the ecosystem will not be formed later," he said.

President Jokowi is optimistic that investors will increase after the election. "I saw optimism after yesterday's election so I didn't wait and now we will arrange everything but it is in accordance with the established ecosystem," he explained.

The Head of State also shows the IKN Area map along with the position of each cluster. The map shows the dense points of the development plan at IKN, especially in the western part of IKN.

"The denser ones are actually in western IKN, only these points have not been shown here, but this is the densest one later. In the last two or three months, the densest one is," he explained.
