Honorary Teacher Who Molested Dozens Of Students In Cianjur Arrested By Police

CIANJUR - Police arrested honorary HR teacher (27) at an elementary school in Cipanas, Cianjur Regency, West Java, for molesting dozens of students.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Cianjur Police, AKP Tono Listianto in Cianjur Thursday, said the teacher was arrested at his home without a fight after the police received a report from parents of students who were sexually harassed, Monday (26/2).

"Receiving the report, we immediately sent officers to arrest the perpetrators, without any resistance, the perpetrators were taken to the Cianjur Police Headquarters, to undergo an examination," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, February 29.

The police are still developing the case by asking for other witness statements because it is suspected that there were more than 15 victims, but only one person has reported it. The other victim was asked to be able to report with a guarantee that his identity would be kept secret.

The police have also formed a team to investigate the deviant sexual harassment case, to go directly to the school location to dig up information on the number of victims of the honorary teacher's lecherous act.

"If the testimony from the witness is likely the number of victims is more than 15 people, now the team has been sent to the school location to dig deeper into the number of victims," he said.

Information from the victim's family who asked for his name to be disguised, namely Ocim (32), said that the teacher's depraved act was revealed after a student reported HR's actions to his parents after participating in a competition at school.

Previously, HR took the student into a quiet room to launch a deviant act.

After venting his lust, the perpetrator threatened not to tell anyone about his actions, including his parents.

"There are a lot of victims from various generations, maybe more than 100 people," said Ocim.
