The reason, continued Herman, was when he came to the electoral district (dapil) and asked about the presidential election, the majority of the people wanted to choose Paslon 02, Prabowo-Gibran. In fact, he said, the choice of the people was still consistent from three months before the voting day until the D day on February 14 at the TPS. "So the optimism that was built in me was actually at that time, Mr. Prabowo will become president. For what reason? The facts on the ground almost the majority of the people I visited said the same thing, namely supporting 02," explained the legislator for the West Java electoral district VIII. Therefore, Herman admitted that he was surprised that the results of the quick count calculation, which was not much different from the KPU's real count, were considered suspicious. It is known that the KPU's real count update per day puts Prabowo-Gibran in first place with 58.83 percent. "I think it's actually a fact. Even if I predict, Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran should have won more than 60 percent. Because wherever I go, wherever I socialize, not even in my electoral district, I also go to other friends' electoral districts, I also ask other friends, almost the same," said the member of Commission VII DPR. Herman then appealed to the 01 and 03 camps to stop the narrative of fraud aimed at candidate pair 02. This is because the results of the quick count and real count of the KPU are facts. Moreover, to the point of encouraging the right of inquiry that cannot cancel the election results. "In my opinion, that is a fact, that is the reality at this time. The tendency of the community to mostly choose Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran. So where is the fraud? Moreover, it will be linked later to political political issues that exist in the DPR through the right of inquiry," he said.

"Of course I also really understand, I appreciate that the right of inquiry is the constitutional right of all members of the DPR, the right of the factions to exercise these rights in accordance with the 1945 Constitution Article 20 A which guarantees the privileges of members of the DPR," concluded Herman.
