JAKARTA - Head of the Air Force Information Service (Kadispenau) Marsma TNI R. Agung Sasongkojati encourages military technology used by the Indonesian Air Force to continue to follow the times and their needs do not depend on overseas. He said this during the 2024 Indonesian Air Force Leadership Meeting (Rapim) at the Puri Ardhya Garini Building, Jakarta, Thursday, February 29. Kadispenau highlighted the optimization of military technology within the Indonesian Air Force. “ In this rapim we refer to future technology, satellites. Then, the domestic aircraft industry technology that we have to develop because we are a big country. it should not depend on the outside,” said Kadispenau when met after the rapim. Kadispenau said that the optimization of this technology was a commitment of the Indonesian Air Force. He said that the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Air Force (KSAU) Marshal TNI Fadjar Prasetyo also emphasized the importance of Indonesian Air Force soldiers controlling software. “ We must master the software or AI (artificial intelligence) used because it will determine how a country, especially its AU, can exist to face threat challenges and at the same time have opportunities in the future,” said Agung.

On the same occasion, the KSAU said that the 2024 Air Force Rapim aims to equalize perceptions and perspectives among Indonesian Air Force officers in continuing the country's duties in the future. "We are trying to equalize perceptions and perspectives in continuing our future tasks, so that the Indonesian Air Force is always able to make a positive contribution, which is in line with the national goals and ideals of the Indonesian nation," said KSAU. The theme raised at the rapim is "The TNI as an Air Force that is Respected in the Region, Ready to Create A Tough Air Defense in the Context of Securing the National Airspace for Advanced Indonesia". "“Departing from the theme, I would like to re-emphasize to all officers as people in the aerospace, how tough air defense is the most important component in maintaining the sovereignty of the Indonesian state," said KSAU. This 2024 Air Force Rapim was followed by Indonesian Air Force officers both offline and online.
