Chairman of the Regional Leadership Council (DPD) of the DKI Jakarta Gerindra Party, Ahmad Riza Patria, admitted that his party was not satisfied with the vote acquisition in the Legislative Election of the DKI Jakarta DPRD.

"The vote acquisition for the Gerindra Legislative Election has not yet met what we are targeting," Riza said when contacted, Wednesday, February 29.

In the temporary real count on the KPU website, Gerindra is in third place in the political party (parpol) in the 2024 Pilleg of the DKI Jakarta province with a percentage of 12.27 percent.

The first order is occupied by PKS with a percentage of 16.7 percent of vote acquisition and the second is PDIP with 14.33 percent of it.

The calculated results in the real count are still 52 percent of all polling stations (TPS) in DKI Jakarta with an update on February 29 as of 06.33 WIB.

On that basis, Riza hopes that Gerindra's vote acquisition will increase during the General Election Commission's official recapitulation of all polling stations. Given, in the 2019 Legislative Election, Gerindra is the second most votes after PDIP, which is 17.92 percent.

"Hopefully we will see until the results of the legislative and presidential elections are completed," said Riza.

On the one hand, the former Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta admitted that his party was still focused on overseeing the recapitulation of the vote results until they were finished.

Therefore, Gerindra has not yet determined the cadres or figures who will be promoted as candidates for Governor and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta in the 2024 Pilkada.

"From the DPP, to this day, we have not discussed internally regarding the DKI Jakarta Pilkada," he added.
