5 Roads In DKI Jakarta Flood, TRC Lowered

JAKARTA It has been raining since morning, five roads in DKI Jakarta have been flooded since 06.40 WIB. The Head of BPBD DKI Jakarta Isnawa Adji, since receiving a report his party sent officers to check.

Isnawa detailed five roads that were inundated or flooded, namely Jalan Percetakan Negara II, Johar Baru (Central Jakarta) with a height of 10 centimeters (cm) and Jalan Yos Sudarso, Sunter Jaya (North Jakarta) with a height of 20 cm.

Jalan Danau Indah Raya, Sunter Jaya (North Jakarta) with a height of 20 cm, Jalan Raya MOI Kelapa Gading Barat Village (North Jakarta) with a height of 15 cm and Jalan Boulevard Barat Raya, Kelapa Gading Barat Village (North Jakarta) with a height of 25 cm.

"The DKI Jakarta BPBD mobilizes personnel to monitor inundation conditions in each region and coordinate elements of the DKI Water Resources Service (SDA), DKI Jakarta Highways Agency, DKI Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat)", said Isnawa Adji, ANTARA, Thursday, February 29.

A total of 267 disaster management officers or the Rapid Response Team (TRC) are on duty in all flood-prone areas.

The team is tasked with dealing with disasters including floods, conducting education and evacuating residents in the event of flooding in the Jakarta area and carrying out handling and monitoring after the disaster occurred.

BPBD DKI has mapped 25 flood-prone urban villages in Jakarta with the following details:

West Jakarta attitudes are located in Rawa Buaya, Tegal Alur, South Kedoya, North Kedoya, and North Kembangan (five urban villages)

Residents of South Jakarta are located in North Cipete, Petogogan, Cipulir, Pondok Pinang, Ulujami, Pondok Labu, Bangka, East Pejaten and Jati Padang (nine urban villages)

East Jakarta heads located in Bidara Cina, Kampung Melayu, Cawang, Cililitan, Cipinang Melayu, Kebon Pala, Makasar, and Rambutan (eight urban villages)

Badminton, North Jakarta is located in West Pademangan, Pluit, and Rorotan (three urban villages).
