Jokowi Together Ministers Including AHY Eating Meatballs At BIG Mall Samarinda

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo invited a number of ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet (KIM) to eat meatballs together at a shopping center, in Samarinda, East Kalimantan.

The President invited, among others, Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir, Minister of Investment Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, and Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), and Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Council Wiranto.

Based on a written statement quoted by ANTARA, the President and his entourage arrived at BIG Mall, Samarinda City at around 20.12 WITA, Wednesday, February 28.

The atmosphere of the shopping center has become lively because visitors welcome the President.

Icha, one of the visitors, said the moment was an unexpected surprise.

"I was really nervous, I couldn't believe it in front of us, it turned out to be the President. Until he shook his hands," said Icha after

took a selfie with President Jokowi.

While greeting and serving requests for selfies from visitors, the President and his entourage then headed to a meatball restaurant.

Rizka, one of the residents, expressed his joy. He did not expect that his intention to have dinner would actually bear a photo with a Head of State.

"Excited, nervous too, a little panicked, but thank God I am very grateful because I can get a photo with Pak Jokowi," said Rizka.

In a more relaxed atmosphere, the ministers who attended also enjoyed togetherness with the community.

They enjoy a bowl of meatballs complete with fried meatballs. They were also targeted by residents to shake hands and take pictures.

The President and his entourage left the shopping center at around 21.50 WITA.
