Against Angkot Driver, Transjakarta Operations Pulo Gadung-Mayor Route In Jakut City Temporarily Stopped

JAKARTA - Transjakarta bus operational service with the Pulo Gadung-North Jakarta Mayor's Office with the 10M bus code was temporarily suspended after operating for several days.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, said that the decision to temporarily stop the 10M bus was made because it drew rejection by U03 city transportation (angkot) drivers.

"In connection with the rejection of U03 regular transportation, mediation has been carried out which was attended by representatives from the Transportation Service, Transjakarta, representatives from the local village, police ranks and U03 regular transportation drivers with the results of the 10M route temporarily suspended," Syafrin told reporters, Wednesday, February 28.

After mediation is carried out, the DKI Provincial Government will again discuss with relevant stakeholders to find a solution to the rejection of the angkot driver to the operation of Transjakarta 10M.

"Against the 10M Route, in principle it is a service needed by the community and received a positive response where the number of users on the first day was quite high," explained Syafrin.

PT Transjakarta opened a nonbus rapid transit (non-BRT) service with a new route, namely Pulo Gadung-Mayor of North Jakarta via Tipar Cakung with a bus code of 10M starting last Thursday, February 22.

The opening of the Pulo Gadung-Mayor route in North Jakarta serves additions at a number of bus stops on Jalan Raya Tipar Cakung - Plumpang Semper. The Transjakarta service route Pulo Gadung-Mayor of North Jakarta via Tipar Cakung has 82 stopping points.

The route that is crossed at the direction of the Mayor of North Jakarta is Pulo Gadung Terminal - Jalan Raya Bekasi - Jalan Tipar Cakung - Jalan Jalan Tipar Cakung - Jalan Plumpang Semper - Jalan Yos Sudarso - turn back before the Sunter Kelapa Gading Bus Stop - Jalan Yos Sudarso - Mayor of North Jakarta.
