PKS Politician Nasir Djamil Clarifies His Name Is On The List Of 30 Members Of The DPR Who Follow The Right Of Questionnaires

JAKARTA - The legislator of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Nasir Djamil clarified the circulation of a list of 30 names of DPR members across factions who would propose the right of inquiry on social media.

Where Nasir is one of 30 names who are said to be rolling out the right of inquiry to investigate allegations of fraud in the 2024 presidential election.

Nasir Djamil firmly stated that he did not know how his name could be listed on the list. Until now, he stressed, the PKS faction has not issued an official decision regarding the proposed right of inquiry.

"It needs to be straightened out. The inclusion of Nasir Djamil's name on the list does not go through confirmation first," Nasir Djamil told reporters, Wednesday, February 28.

The member of the Aceh electoral district DPR explained that currently the DPR is undergoing a recess. Therefore, discussions about the right of inquiry have not been carried out.

"Regarding the right of inquiry, there are formal mechanisms and procedures that must be taken. This cannot be done spontaneously without going through the appropriate process," said Nasir Djamil.

The member of Commission III of the DPR also appealed to the public not to accept and disseminate information that is not necessarily true.

"On the other hand, it is important to maintain the values of democracy that we have adhered to," said Nasir Djamil.

Previously, the Indonesia Adil and Democratic Movement (GIAD) encouraged 30 names of DPR members from four factions to start the process of right to inquiry in the DPR to investigate allegations of fraud and fraud by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in holding the 2024 presidential election. The four factions came from the NasDem Party, PDI Perjuangan, PKB, and PKS.

The Executive Director of Lingkar Madani (LIMA) Ray Rangkuti, claimed that of the 30 names, there were some that came from Commission II of the DPR, namely Saan Mustopa (NasDem), Mardani Ali Sera (PKS), Awang Faroeq Ishak (NasDem), Nasir Djamil (PKS), Yanuar Prihatin (PKB), Ibnu Multazam (PKB), and Dr. Junimart Girsang (PDIP), Arief Wibowo (PDIP) and Djarot S. Hidayat (PDIP).

Ray also claimed to have contacted three names of DPR members and was willing to sign the application for the right to inquiry.

"That is, Irma Suryani (NasDem), Masinton Pasaribu (PDIP), and Daniel Johan (PKB), which may later be submitted to the leadership of the DPR," Ray said in a forum for the idea entitled 'The Election Angket: Release of 30 Names of Members of the DPR Encouraged to Submit Rights. ', which was broadcast on the YouTube account of the Syndicate, Tuesday, February 27.
