JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) noted that three roads in North Jakarta have been inundated due to rains that have hit since this morning. Then, it was recorded that 2 RTs in West Jakarta were flooded. "BPBD noted that currently there are 3 roads inundated and 2 RT or 0.006 percent of the 30.772 RT in the DKI Jakarta area," said Head of BPBD DKI Jakarta Isnawa Adji in his statement, Wednesday, February 28. The roads are currently inundated in Gang Elektron, Penjaringan Village, with a water level of 15 centimeters; Jalan PT Koja, Penjaringan Village, with water levels reaching 10 centimeters; and Gang Waringin, Penjaringan Village, with water levels reaching 10 centimeters. Then, the 2 RTs that were submerged were in Tegal Alur Village, West Jakarta with a water level of 30 centimeters. Meanwhile, this afternoon, there is one floodgate with Alert 3 status, namely the Fish Market Water Gate with a water level of 190 centimeters. Isnawa said that his party mobilized personnel to monitor inundation conditions in each region and coordinate the elements of the Natural Resources Service, the Highways Office, the Gulkarmat Service to carry out inundation suction and ensure that the water lines function properly together with the local village heads and sub-district heads.

"The inundation is targeted to recede in a short time. BPBD DKI urges the public to remain careful and alert to potential inundation," he said.
