Kepingin Joins Government, PAN: Sandiaga Admits Prabowo-Gibran's Victory

JAKARTA - Chairman of the DPP PAN, Saleh Partaonan Daulay, responded to the statement by the Chairman of Bappilu PPP Sandiaga Uno who was honored if he was invited to join the next government.

According to Saleh, Sandiaga's attitude shows that the former Gerindra politician admits the victory of candidate pair number 2, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

"It shows that Sandiaga has admitted Prabowo-Gibran's victory in the presidential election," said Saleh, Wednesday, February 28.

With Sandiaga's statement, Saleh assessed that PPP had a different attitude from Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD's National Winning Team (TPN). Where his coalition partners are busy suing Prabowo-Gibran's victory.

Deputy Secretary of TKN Prabowo-Gibran also advised Sandiaga to talk to his coalition regarding his desire to join the Prabowo-Gibran government. The reason is that the coalition supporting Paslon 03 is making a fuss about rolling out the discourse on right to inquiry and accusing there is fraud in the 2024 election.

"In order to be faster, Mr. Sandi should speak with his coalition. No more maneuvers have come out of his way. The right to inquiry can be constitutionally rolled out. But, not to annull certain candidate pairs wins in elections," said Saleh.

The chairman of the PAN faction believes that Prabowo as president-elect will be happy if Sandiaga wants to join his government. Moreover, he said, Gerindra had participated in raising Sandiaga in the world of national politics.

"Of course, Sandi is not new. Prabowo and his friends at candidate pair 02 know him. However, all any decisions must be returned to Pak Prabowo and Gibran. In fact, those who are mandated by the people," he concluded.
