JAKARTA - The Class I Immigration Office of TPI North Jakarta arrested eight Nigerian citizens suspected of violating the residence permit period (overstay) in the Pademangan area on Thursday 22 February and Kelapa Gading on Saturday 24 February. Head of the Class I Immigration Office of TPI North Jakarta Qriz Pratama in Jakarta, Tuesday, said the eight Nigerian residents were IGM, CON, OAN, COA, URC, OIP, EZC, and BM. He said the eight foreigners committed various violations ranging from overstays for eight months to six years and five of them were unable to show travel documents or passports. He said the four foreigners who had been proven to have overstayed would be subject to immigration administrative actions in the form of deportation and deterrence.
