JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) issued a national weather forecast for Tuesday 27 February. Forecasters of Sekar Anggraeni stated that all major cities on the island of Java will experience rain.

On the island of Sumatra, sunny and cloudy weather in the city of Padang, and sunny weather in the city of Banda Aceh. Light rain has the potential to be in the cities of Medan, Pekanbaru, Tanjung Pinang, and Bengkulu.

Rain is in Jambi and Palembang cities. Beware of rain accompanied by lightning in Pangkal Pinang and Bandar Lampung cities.

"On the island of Java, light rain is predicted in Serang City. Rain is in the cities of Jakarta, Semarang, and Yogyakarta. Beware of rain accompanied by lightning in the cities of Bandung and Surabaya," said Sekar Anggraeni in the BMKG Information Broadcast.

For the islands of Bali and Nusa Tenggara, light rain has the potential in Denpasar, Mataram, Kupang cities.

On the island of Kalimantan, the weather is foggy in Tanjung Selor City. Light rain has the potential to be in Pontianak, Samarinda, and Palangkaraya. Beware of rain accompanied by lightning in Banjarmasin City.
