Man In Jatinegara HIT By Firearms By Former Artist's Husband

The shooting of firearms took place in an office on Jalan Jatinegara Timur, Bali Mester, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta.

According to eyewitness accounts of the incident, Andika Mowardi (32) said he almost became a victim of the shooting when the incident occurred. The shooter with the initials G, who is the ex-husband of an artist.

The incident occurred last Thursday, February 8, 2024. At that time he ran into the perpetrator in the office parking area. The perpetrator then chased the victim and tried to shoot him.

The incident was caught on a CCTV camera at the scene. The perpetrator, who confronted the victim, then fired a firearm and chased the victim who ran into his shop house.

"I have known the perpetrator for a long time, I happen to be friends. I don't know what problem he (G) suddenly shot at me three times," Andika told reporters, Monday, February 24.

The perpetrator first shot down. Andika, who panicked, kept trying to save herself up to the second floor across the stairs and then closed the office door.

"First he shot down first, then the second was directed at me on the second floor, I was above, I avoided, a small wound was hit by broken glass," he said.

When Andika managed to break into his shop house, there was an action of pushing each other between Andika and the perpetrators because G was trying to break down the office iron door until it was damaged to catch the victim to the second floor.

Because the target failed to be paralyzed, the perpetrator then fled. Luckily, the victim's life managed to survive. The victim also reported the case to the East Jakarta Metro Police.
