5 Commissioners Of The Kaltara KPU 2024-2029 Inaugurated, Hariadi Hamid Becomes Chair

TANJUNG SELOR - Chairman of the General Election Commission (KPU) Hasyim Asy'ari inaugurated North Kalimantan (Kaltara) KPU members for the period 2024-2029.

The appointment was based on the decision of the Indonesian KPU number 271 of 2024 concerning the appointment of members of the Kaltara Province KPU including Agung Firmansyah, Chairullizza, Hariyadi Hamid, Hermansyah, and Nasruddin.

After being inaugurated, five members of the Kaltara KPU held a closed Plenary Meeting to elect the chairman of the Kaltara KPU and compile

a new structure. As a result, Hariadi Hamid, who is also incumbent or incumbent, was elected as Chairman of the Kaltara KPU for the period 2024-2029.

"Regarding the structure and other equipment that we have compiled at today's plenary meeting, after this we will go home and schedule several activities. The first is the handover of positions from the leadership of the chairman of the KPU who has been in the 2019-2024 period," Hariadi said, Monday, February 26.

In addition, his party will hold a coordination meeting with the Regency and City KPU in Kaltara to conduct an evaluation after the 2024 General Election on February 14, 2024 and discuss the preparation of the stages ahead of the 2024 Regional Head Election.

"We were also ordered by the Indonesian KPU to carry out a fit or proper test related to the selection of district/city KPU members in Tanjung Selor on February 29," said Hariadi Hamid.

One of the tasks of the new KPU members is to supervise or monitor the recapitulation of the results of the 2024 General Election in Kota Regency. Moreover, currently there are several regions that have been completed at the sub-district level.

"After that, we will determine the results of the 2024 election through the open Plenary Meeting of the Kaltara KPU no later than March 10. This task is one of the tasks that must be completed after the previous full duties of KPU members," explained Hariadi, who previously served as Commissioner of the Kaltara KPU, Socialization Division, Voter Education, Community Participation, and Human Resources.

Ahead of the 2024 Pilkada, Hariadi continued, the Kaltara KPU will prepare stages for the Election of the Governor of Kaltara including holding a Pilgub mascot competition and calming it as an icon for the socialization of Pilkada.

"In addition, we must also prepare all the needs of the organizers of the North Kalimantan gubernatorial election which will be held in November, including the socialization of the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada," he concluded.
