Polda Metro Jaya has postponed the process of examining the Chancellor of Pancasila University with the initials ETH regarding the alleged sexual harassment case. Investigators rescheduled it back on Thursday, February 29.

"Yes (delayed), so February 29th," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi to VOI, Monday, February 26.

The postponement of the examination was carried out on a request from ETH. Through his attorney, the Chancellor of Pancasila University said that he could not fulfill the summons for examination today.

But it was not clearly stated about the cause. It was only conveyed that ETH had other activities that could not be canceled.

"I was unable to attend the examination at the Sub-Directorate of Renakta Polda Metro Jaya because there was already a schedule before the invitation letter from the regional police was received," said ETH lawyer, Raden Nanda Setiawan.

The examination of ETH is a follow-up to two police reports (LP) received by Polda Metro Jaya.

One of the LPs was reported by RZ, who was called an employee at Pancasila University. The report is registered with the number LP/B/193/I/2024/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya, dated January 12, 2024.

Meanwhile, the other LPs are delegations from Bareskrim Polri. Currently, the two reports are still in the process of being investigated.

Meanwhile, the alleged sexual harassment case was handled by the Sub-Directorate of Youth, Children and Women (Sub-Directorate of Renakta) Polda Metro Jaya.

The Chancellor of Pancasila University is suspected of violating Article 6 of Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning the Crime of Sexual Violence (TPKS).
