Hard! North Korea News Agency Insinuates US Efforts To Overcome Conflict In Gaza 'Juaya Waters'

JAKARTA - North Korean news agency KCNA commented on the United States' veto on the UN Security Council's draft resolution and called the US efforts to address the conflict in the Gaza Strip a 'gay tear'. In a UN Security Council hearing on February 20, the draft resolution, reflecting world opinion of Israel's genocide against Palestinians, was thwarted by the US by its veto rights. KCNA called the US decision a scourge and showed their double standards against the conflict in the Middle East. "Since the beginning of the year, the US Secretary of State has been busy traveling around the Middle East to get attention as if he cares about peace," the North Korean state-owned media was quoted as saying via Antara, Friday, February 23. Recently, the White House announced that US President Joe Biden had spoken with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and called for "an immediate and detailed action" to provide humanitarian assistance to Palestinians in Gaza. "The US acts like a loyal 'citizen of peace'. Such a attitude is to ease the anger of the world community towards the mass killing of Palestinians by Israelis. But it is just a hoax so that (US) is not shunned and rejected, because of its unilateral and pro-Israeli policies," wrote KCNA. Shortly after the conflict in Gaza erupted in October last year, the US offered large numbers of lethal weapons to Israel under the pretext that the Zionist nation should be assisted to defend itself. Israel also said that the rockets, ammunition, missiles, fighter jets and bombs it uses were provided by the US and without the US they were unable to win the war, according to KCNA.

A few days ago, the US Senate passed a bill on aid worth US$14 billion (around Rp218 trillion) to Israel. The US Veto on February 20 was the 3rd veto against a draft resolution to a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. All of these facts, wrote KCNA, prove that the "restriction efforts" that the US has been calling for so far are just "gay tears".
