Adian Believes That Election Cheating Rights Can Be Supported: No One Talks About Jokowi's Impeachment

PDI-P (PDIP) politician Adian Napitupulu believes the discourse on the issuance of the right to inquiry in the DPR regarding allegations of election fraud has received support, including from the United Development Party (PPP). Moreover, fraud is clearly seen.

"We are sure that everything is supportive, really. Only some people are counting their votes in the legislative election. However, all of them support it," Adian told reporters from the Presidential Winning Volunteer Coordinating Team (TKRPP), Menteng, Central Jakarta, Friday, February 23.

Adian believes that the fraud that actually occurs cannot be silenced. Because this will affect the next general election.

"Massive processes and full of fraud do not give us the option to remain silent. Nothing," said the member of the DPR RI.

"If we ignore this, don't expect the next election to be better," continued Adian.

Moreover, the right of inquiry issued in the DPR is too far if it is considered an attempt to impeach President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). He said, this effort only aims to correct various frauds found.

In addition, the process will still be rolled out. "No one is talking about Jokowi's impeachment," he said.

Previously reported, Ganjar Pranowo proposed two supporting parties in parliament, namely the PDI-P (PDIP) and the United Development Party (PPP) to roll out the right of inquiry related to alleged fraud in the 2024 General Election.

However, the Development Unity Party (PPP) recently admitted that it had not taken a stand on the proposal. They are now more focused on monitoring the recapitulation of votes in the 2024 Legislative Election because they want to return to Senayan.

"Of course, if there is fraud, evidence, data, yes, we collect it. We are currently reviewing it," said PPP DPP chairman Achmad Baidowi or Awiek to reporters, Thursday, February 22.
