The Mataram City Tourism Office of West Nusa Tenggara Province has added lighting in the Udayana Terrace area to anticipate things that are not desirable in the public area. "We have coordinated with the Housing and Settlement Areas Agency (Disperkim), to add lighting, especially in the stands," said Head of the Mataram City Tourism Office (Dispar) Cahya Samudra in Mataram, Antara, Friday, February 23. Cahya admits that Teras Udayana has not been inaugurated for two months and is currently still in the evaluation and arrangement stage, including for lighting arrangement. "Indeed, there are still many shortages of facilities, but that is part of our evaluation to be prioritized gradually according to regional capabilities," he said. For the additional number of lighting points, he said, it was entirely the domain of the Disperkim which knew the need for sufficient numbers and points of lighting. Meanwhile, regarding security in the area, Cahya said, his party had already placed officers, but the number was very limited. In addition, Teras Udayana as one of the public spaces in Mataram City is also part of the Satpol PP to supervise the security and comfort of visitors. "So every night, Satpol PP is also active in patrolling the Udayana Terrace area, such as other city parks in Sangkareang Park, Loang Baloq, and others," he said. It is hoped that these efforts can anticipate various indications of misuse of park areas by people who come to visit so that the city government's celebration of building public facilities as recreation space, interaction, sports and education can be achieved.
