JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Habiburokhman, revealed that there is a political party (parpol) outside the coalition supporting Paslon number 2 who wants to join the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government if it is later determined as the winner of the 2024 presidential election.

The politician, said Habib, often uses the word 'ane' in his daily language.

Initially, Habiburokhman revealed that there had been no formal communication between the Paslon 02 camp and the opposing camp. However, he said, before the election voting on February 14, 2024, communication between 3 coalitions carrying presidential and vice presidential candidates was well established.

"There is no formal communication yet, but in my opinion, substantive communication before the voting continues to be well established between 3 coalitions, the communication between political parties is well established," said Habiburokhman in Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, February 22.

"We in the DPR communicate well a day before the campaign, even there is kind of a commitment between us, this is a statesman. The commitment is that after the contestation on the 14th, whatever the result, we will reunite as children of the nation," he continued.

On the basis of this commitment, Habiburokhman said that there are political parties that are outside the Prabowo-Gibran coalition today that want to join the government in the future. One of the political party elites, he said, often called himself 'ane'.

"A lot, there are friends who talk to me 'ane', he said, after the election, winning did not win, ane wanted to join the ane party in the government," he said.

Asked who the 'ane' figure was, the Deputy Chairperson of the Prabowo-Gibran TKN was reluctant to explain further. He only mentioned the 'leading party next door' who is a resident of Jakarta.

"One of the leaders of political parties in the other side, right, I said that to me, yes, fellow Jakarta children. That's what he said, what he said after the election wanted to be in power. You must know, don't know," said Habib.

When called one PKS elite name, namely Aboe Bakar Alhabsyi, Habiburokhman kept it a secret. He asked to wait.

"I don't know, later, just look, I don't want to go ahead. (Aboe Bakar, red) Hahaha, please go ahead, I don't want to go ahead, I'm sorry," he concluded.
