Undergoing Investigation, The Suspected Perpetrator Of The Binus Serpong High School Bullying Is Threatened With A Beating Article

TANGERANG The legal process for the alleged bullying case at BSD Serpong International Binus High School, South Tangerang has been running. Thursday, February 22, the alleged perpetrator underwent an examination at the South Tangerang Police.

The Head of Public Relations of the Tangerang Police, AKP Wendy, when asked by reporters about the development of the case, was reluctant to answer.

"It's still being explored," said Wendy, Thursday, February 22.

Wendy only said that if the reported party was proven to have committed the act, then the perpetrator, who is suspected of being more than one person, would be applied to the beating article.

"Article 76C Jo. Article 80 of Law No.35 Th. 2014 on amendments to Law No. 23 Th. 2002 concerning Child Protection is Law and/or Article 170 of the Criminal Code," he said.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner of the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI), Diyah Puspitarini confirmed that today an examination of the students involved had been carried out.

Diyah was also present at the examination to ensure that there was fulfillment of the rights and processes in accordance with the law.

"We only ensure that the fulfillment of rights and processes is in accordance with the juvenile criminal justice system law," he concluded.
