Fadjar Panjaitan, Former DKI Regional Secretary Of Foke-Jokowi Era Dies

JAKARTA - Former DKI Jakarta Regional Secretary for the 2010-2013 period, Fadjar Panjaitan died in the early hours of this morning. Fajar served as DKI Regional Secretary in Fauzi Bowo's leadership until Joko Widodo served as Governor of DKI Jakarta.

Fadjar is buried at the funeral home of Jalan Duri Utama Raya No. 20, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta. The deceased was then buried at the Tanah Kusir TPU, South Jakarta.

Acting Governor Heru Budi Hartono also expressed his condolences for hearing this news.

"On behalf of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and as a person, I would like to express my deep condolences for the death of Mr. Fadjar Panjaitan," Heru said in his statement, Thursday, February 22.

Fadjar is known to have pursued a career starting from the village staff, and retired in the top position as Regional Secretary.

Among these periods, he had occupied various positions such as the sub-district head, the Secretary of the Thousand Islands Administrative District, the Head of the Regional Administration Bureau, and the Mayor of West Jakarta Administration.

"During his career, he arrived at the highest position as the Regional Secretary, Mr. Fadjar is remembered as a good person," said Heru.

As fellow ASN within the scope of the DKI Provincial Government at that time, Heru views Fadjar as a role model for the successors in the DKI Jakarta Provincial bureaucracy.

"After being retired from service, he is still devoted to the Scout Movement in DKI Jakarta. May his deeds of worship and kindness be accepted by Allah SWT," concluded Heru.
