Jokowi Concerning The Possibility Of Reshuffle Again After Lantik Hadi Tjahjanto And AHY: If Needs Why Not?

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) revealed the possibility of re-shakeing or reshuffle the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet is open to doing. However, he will first see what he needs.

This was conveyed after he appointed Hadi Tjahjanto as Minister of Politics for Law and Security (Menko Polhukam) replacing Mahfud MD and Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) as Minister of ATR/BPN.

"Yes, the name is if the need really requires, yes, why not," Jokowi told reporters at the State Palace, Wednesday, February 21.

Meanwhile, regarding the entry of AHY into the cabinet, Jokowi said it was full of consideration. The son of the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia is believed to have the ability.

As previously reported, Hadi Tjahjanto was sworn in at the State Palace, Jakarta on Wednesday, February 21. He was inaugurated with the Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono who replaced him as Minister of ATR/BPN.

Meanwhile, Mahfud MD resigned because he did not want to have a conflict of interest when running as a vice presidential candidate (cawapres). In the presidential election, in 2024 he ran in pairs with Ganjar Pranowo.

The pair number three was promoted by the PDI-P (PDIP) and supported by the United Development Party (PPP), the Hanura Party, and the Perindo Party.
