The Tambora Police Criminal Investigation Unit arrested three perpetrators of the crime of trafficking in persons (TPPO) in the form of selling newborns. The suspect is a cross-provincial baby trafficking syndicate.
Tambora Police Chief Kompol Donny Harvinda said the three suspects were arrested in West Java.
"Arrested in the Karawang and Bandung areas," he said when confirmed, Wednesday, February 21.
The case of selling this baby stems from a report by one of the victim's parents who made a police report. The police conducted an in-depth investigation and identified the perpetrators of the sale of the baby.
