Ancol Village Head Apologizes To PPSU Officers, Action Strikes After Masses Return To Work

JAKARTA - The masses of the Ancol Village Public Infrastructure and Facilities Handling Officer (PPSU) have returned to work after carrying out a strike due to allegations of insulting the village head and the local village secretary to them.

"We have started working at 11.00 WIB and have mediated with the Ancol Village Head," said Ancol PPSU officer Madhadi in Jakarta, Tuesday, February 20, who was confiscated by Antara.

He said the Head of Ancol Village, Saud M Manik, had apologized to the PPSU officers if they were wrong in providing guidance.

"If I am wrong in my words and it is humane if there is a mistake, I apologize," he said, imitating the words of the Head of Saud.

Another officer, Mardi, said he came to work at 13.00 WIB and did not participate in the mediation because he was in the second shift.

"Everything has started working today and we don't know about the results of the mediation because those who took part in the mediation were the first few," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of Pademangan Sub-district, Didit Mulyadi, said that PPSU officers had returned to work after holding a meeting of the Ancol Village staff, Ancol Village PPSU officers, Pademangan District City Council, Ancol Village Deliberation Institute (LMK) and others at the kelurahan office on Tuesday morning.

"This morning we held a meeting forum together to find the best solution together. It is certain that the activities of all PPSU officers in Ancol Village have started to run normally," he said.

He said Ancol Village Head, Saud Maruli Manik apologized to PPSU officers for offensive remarks.

The village head has also explained the chronology of the sanctions for dismissing the work of PPSU officers from Ancol Village with the initials MH which is in accordance with the rules in the work contract.

"We all invite all PPSU members to work together to improve relations and communication patterns for better performance improvements," he said.

Meanwhile, the North Jakarta City Council for Pademangan District, Rijal, confirmed that the problem had been resolved together.

His party is willing to open a communication forum if there are other problems with PPSU officers in the future.

"This problem has been resolved. Everything has forgiven each other and will improve each other. In the future, we are always open to opening communication forums if there are other PPSU problems," he said.

Previously, dozens of officers handling Public Infrastructure and Facilities (PPSU) of Ancol Village, Pademangan District, North Jakarta carried out a strike action due to insulting actions from the Head of Saud M Manik Village and Ancol Secretary Khenny, Monday, February 19.

"We ask for firmness and justice. So, like this, the village head always scolds each apple, especially those who are not happy with the words of the poor. For example, poor PPSU is prohibited from smoking, he talks like that," said PPSU Ancol officer, Fajar.

He demanded justice and asked the Ancol Village Head to apologize to all PPSU officers for often insulting.

"The name work is tired, bro, just don't 'cut' the kids, don't cut them often," he said.
