JAKARTA - Arman Bin Amarza, Head of the Voting Organizing Group (KPPS) TPS 121 Sunter Agung Tanjung Priok District, North Jakarta, died early Monday, February 19.

"We are sorry for this incident," said Acting (Plt) Chairman of the North Jakarta KPU Abie Maharullah Madusgiri, ANTARA, February 19.

The family of the deceased, Rifki said, Arman is the Head of TPS 121 Sunter Agung and has completed his work in the 2024 General Election.

"Information from the deceased's hospital is suspected to be due to hypertension," he said.

He said Arman looked exhausted after carrying out his duties as Chairman of the KPPS and was taken to the hospital.

"Yesterday he was taken to Koja Hospital and was in a coma at 17.00 WIB and declared dead in the early hours of Monday at 03.00 WIB," he said.

After praying, the body of the deceased was immediately taken to Yogyakarta for burial there.

"Today, he immediately left for Yogyakarta after being buried at the funeral home," he said.

One member of the KPPS polling house (TPS) 121 Sunter Agung, Abi said, after carrying out his duties, he looked fine.

"Indeed, there is a history of illness, I had a minor stroke and the hospital said that the deceased was suspected of having hypertension," he said.
