Meeting SBY, Prabowo Wants To Ensure Democratic Party's Commitment

JAKARTA The meeting with Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono was seen as a sign that Prabowo Subianto needed the Democratic Party's commitment to running the government if he was officially appointed president.

According to the Executive Director of the Institute for Democracy & Strategic Affairs (Indostrategic), Ahmad Khoirul Umam, although the candidate pair Prabowo-Gibran vote based on a relatively high quick count, the Gerindra Party did not get much of the coat-tail effect.
