Bima Arya Explains The Reason For The Demolition Of Plaza Bogor Not Being Carried Out In The Near Future

Bogor City Government does not want to rush to dismantle and revitalize Plaza Bogor on Jalan Suryakencana, Babakan Pasar Village, Central Bogor District, Bogor City.

Bogor Mayor Bima Arya explained that his party was still waiting for the results of the selection of the Directors of Perumda Pasar Pakuan Jaya.

"We will not be in a hurry. Because this must be properly matured. Later I will discuss it with the new elected directors. What is certain is that I will not be in a hurry," he said, quoted from ANTARA.

He said, after the new board of directors was inaugurated, the Bogor City Government then compiled a Term of Reference (TOR) for Plaza Bogor's new design. It is estimated that the definitive board of directors will be sworn in in early March 2024.

"Yes, I'm still focused on the board of directors, later the definitive board of directors will be sworn in in early March and then focus on preparing the TOR for the new design of Plaza Bogor," he said.

The Bogor City Government has planned the revitalization of Plaza Bogor which was built in 1990 and received renovations in 1994. Seeing these conditions and through various studies, Bima Arya said, Plaza Bogor must be revitalized.

Bima Arya said the beauty contest for the demolition and revitalization of Plaza Bogor began in March. So far, no one has volunteered for a beauty contest.

"Nothing yet, right, it hasn't been opened yet. There hasn't been any. Later, once the board of directors is elected, then we will formulate what the TORs will be like," he said.

He said he was optimistic that Perumda PPJ's new directors were the best people. So that you can continue the work of Perumda PPJ next.

"I have learned everything, and God willing, the best people who will become the new directors of Perumda Pasar," he said.
