Presidential candidate number 1, Anies Baswedan asked the General Elections Commission (KPU) to seriously address all reports regarding alleged violations of the 2024 General Election. Because, the aim is solely to build a better democracy.

"It needs to be serious, the KPU must respect all reports because we want the quality of democracy to be better," Anies told reporters, Saturday, February 17.

According to him, the seriousness of the KPU in receiving reports and following up is one reflection of the democratic process in Indonesia.

So, later a fair election process will be created and the value of democracy will be felt by all people.

"One of the indications of democracy, be it a clean election, then be honest, yes, if there are shortcomings, they must be followed up, steps must be taken to ensure that every vote of the people is counted and all aspirations are in accordance with calculations," he said.

On the other hand, when asked about the Ganjar-Mahfud camp which opened the possibility to coordinate with Anies-Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin regarding the follow-up to alleged election fraud, this presidential candidate number one was reluctant to comment much on this matter.

"Yes, of course, keep chatting with each other, thank you," said Anies.

KPU chairman Hasyim Asy'ari admitted that the audience's automatic readers had problems. So that the sirekap data that appears does not match the form in C1.

"We apologize if the reading results are not perfect," said Hasyim at the KPU office, Jakarta, Thursday, February 15.

Sirekap sambung Hasyim, memiliki sistem untuk konversion pembacaan form, kemudian secara otomatis akan muncul angka jumlah.

"There is a system in the sirekap for conversions that read the form and then the count number will automatically appear, there is a problem there," said Hasyim.
