Israeli Military Claims Arrest Dozens Of People Related To Hamas Attacks In Special Forces Operations At Nasser Hospital

JAKARTA - Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said they had detained more than 20 suspects in the Hamas militant group attack last October, as they resumed raids on Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis.

The IDF special forces continue to operate against the Hamas organization at Nasser Hospital; the army found weapons inside the hospital and arrested dozens of terrorist suspects," the Israeli military said in a statement on Friday, according to CNN February 16.

However, the IDF did not provide additional details regarding the detained people and the nature of their involvement in the Hamas attack on October 7.

Regarding the weapons found at the hospital, the Israeli military claimed to have found mortars and grenades, as well as released low-resolution photos of suspected weapons deposits.

"The use of hospitals for terrorist activities, mortar shootings from civilian areas, and hostage-taking violates international law," said IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel

The IDF acknowledged that the special forces had invaded Nasser Hospital, after days of siege of the only major hospital still functioning in Gaza.
